A concrete basement wall connects to a mat foundation at the bottom and a suspended concrete slab on metal deck at Level 1, with an intermediate slab on grade at Level B1. U-bars at the top of the wall match the size and spacing of the vertical wall reinforcement. Hooked dowels at the base match the vertical reinforcement and tie into the mat foundation. Concrete cover is maintained at one and a half inches and two inches respectively.
