A cold-formed steel stud wall bears on a concrete stem wall and continuous footing reinforced with two number four continuous bars at the top and number four continuous bars spaced at twelve inches on center. Number four dowels with standard hooks are embedded into the footing at eighteen inches on center. The bottom track requires a minimum forty-three mil thickness or matching the stud thickness, whichever is greater, with a minimum flange width of one and one-quarter inches. Stud-to-track and track-to-foundation connections are detailed per sheet S8.02.
