A column splice connection centers on the column centerline, located four feet typical, unless otherwise noted, to the top of the slab. The assembly utilizes a web erection plate with filler plates and erection bolts as required for temporary alignment. The primary connection is made using demand-critical complete joint penetration welds at both the flanges and the web.
