A concrete curb bears directly on a corrugated metal deck with a maximum height of six inches and three-quarters of an inch clearance. For curbs with widths less than or equal to eight inches, a single number three continuous reinforcing bar is placed at the center of the curb with a one-half-inch typical radius at corners. For curbs with widths greater than eight inches, number three reinforcing bars are spaced at twelve inches on center each way. Vertical number three dowels with one-hundred-eighty-degree bends at the top are anchored into pre-drilled one-half-inch diameter by three-inch deep holes aligned with the low flute of the metal deck, cleaned and set with epoxy at twenty-four inches on center each way.
