Continuous column ties extend above the beam reinforcing, paired with hairpins at the top of the column. Bottom of beam skin reinforcing stops at the face of the column. Where two rows of bars exist, the second row of bars is offset by six inches typically unless noted otherwise. A maximum two-inch spacing is maintained to the first tie.
