An auger-cast pile extends upward into a concrete mat foundation set at elevation -26'-0". Two number 6 bars by eight feet six inches each way provide bottom mat reinforcement directly above the pile head. An embedded threaded rod and anchor assembly ties the pile head into the structural mat slab.
