A concrete joist connection anchors to a reinforced concrete element using embedded steel plates and tie plates. A 3/8-inch by 7-inch by 1'-8" plate and a 3/8-inch by 8-inch by 1'-10" plate are cast into the concrete assembly, reinforced by three number 5 rebars measuring 6 feet in length. A 5/16-inch by 5-inch by 8-inch tie plate connects across the assembly, welded with specified fillet welds including 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch sizes. Three 3/8-inch stiffener plates provide additional load distribution support beneath the framing line. Dimensions clearly layout the plate placement, edge distances, and spacing relative to the top of framing reference line.
