Concrete slab reinforcing includes a number four top bar running continuous past the column edge with a two-inch clear cover. Additional number four bars measuring four feet long are placed symmetrically at one hundred thirty-five degree bends. The composite steel deck extends two inches or more beyond the face of the column.
