This structural detail shows weldplate WP1 consisting of a 12mm steel plate anchored with M19x80 Nelson shear studs welded to the plate. A 300x250x10 plate is field welded with a 6 fillet weld to the embedded plates across the panel joint. Field welding is restricted from occurring within 100mm of the panel joint, and the plate is bent at panel corners as required. Panel chamfers and rebates are excluded and must be referenced from architectural drawings.
