A nine-inch concrete slab on grade bears on a thickened edge supported by a continuous concrete footing. Reinforcement consists of number four continuous bars and number four bars spaced at eight inches on center. The contact surface features a one-quarter-inch roughened surface finish. Dimensions and alignments relative to the architectural grid are coordinated with architectural drawings.
