Structural steel railing connections utilize an angle bracket and toe plate supported by a channel or wide-flange support steel member. A one-quarter inch clearance is maintained at the railing post. Three variations show bearing bars perpendicular to the railing, bearing bars parallel to the railing with grating, and an assembly requiring rail post adjustment with grating.
