An HSS post connects to a W16 steel beam with a one-quarter-inch stiffener plate and five-sixteenth-inch fillet welds. A structural steel support for metal composite panels mounts to the HSS post using an HSS header for angle piers. Cold-formed steel stud parapet framing attaches via an L7x4x5/16 angle, a half-inch by six-inch by six-inch plate, and a Ferofast bracket with optional shims. An angle with a vertical slotted hole accommodates movement at the connection.
