A wide flange beam connects to a supporting wide flange beam on a slope using a bolted shear tab. The flanges of the beams are coped as required to clear the connection geometry. A bent plate deck support sits atop the joint. One bolt is omitted where the slope does not allow for the total number of bolts noted in the schedule.
