A steel stringer connects to a slab on grade or finished grade using an L3x3x1/4 angle secured by three-quarter-inch diameter by eight-inch expansion anchor bolts at each stringer typically. A three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld on three sides fastens the stringer to the angle as shown. The slab on grade is thickened at the stringer as detailed on the plan.
