An insulated precast concrete wall panel bears against a structural steel column assembly with a one-and-a-half-inch gap at the roof edge. The roof framing consists of a metal roof deck supported by a structural steel beam connected to the column with bolts and three-eighths-inch stiffener plates on each side of the web. A hollow structural section girt is attached between the steel column and the precast panel using angles and three-quarter-inch diameter thru-bolts, providing standard holes on one end and slotted holes on the other. Additional connection details are referenced for the precast panel bearing attachments and embeds provided by the manufacturer.
