A C6X8.2 closure support channel is located at the column center line for overhangs of one foot six inches or less. A three-eighths-inch by four-inch by six-inch steel plate connects with two three-quarter-inch diameter A325-SC bolts to the outrigger. Half-inch diameter by five-foot-long welded deformed anchors are placed within three inches on both sides of the column where concrete fill occurs.
