HSS3x3x1/4 vertical posts are spaced at 8'-0" on center and tied horizontally with HSS5x3x1/4 and HSS3x3x1/4 members at the top and bottom. Continuous L3x3x1/4 angles and additional L3x3x1/4 angles on each side connect the framing to the HSS posts using 3/4-inch diameter machine bolts through the angles and HSS post. A steel beam supports the metal deck with a brace configured per detail 7 on sheet S-502. Fillet welds of 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch size secure the steel connections throughout the assembly.
