Concrete-filled metal pan stair treads connect to platform and angle beams using welded angles or optional shot pins. A continuous edge angle measuring 2x2x3/16 terminates as required where transverse angle beams occur. Fillet welds secure the angle beams and stringers per plan specifications, with specific weld sizes and spacings noted. Contractors may alternatively attach the pan to angles using shot pins spaced at six inches on center with a minimum of three per angle.
