This seismic gap infill detail frames from an existing concrete wall to an existing W10 beam using a W10X22 infill beam and a WT5 beam. The structural connection features a bent plate measuring 3/8 inch by 4 inches by 1 foot 3 inches by 1 foot zero inches spaced at 2 feet on center, anchored to the concrete wall with two 3/4 inch diameter Hilti KB-TZ2 anchors with a 4-3/4 inch embedment on a 9-inch gauge. An angle section L7X4X3/8 connects the framing assembly. The steel deck is attached to the beam with 3/4 inch diameter puddle welds at all down flutes spaced at a maximum of 3 inches, supporting a 1-1/2 inch metal deck.
