A concrete fill over metal deck steps up to a higher floor elevation, retained by a fourteen gauge Z-closure at the vertical face of the step. Continuous number four reinforcing bars run along the top and bottom of the step, complemented by number four dowel bars spaced at twelve inches on center. The assembly rests on fill beams and structural floor beams sized per plan.
