A concrete slab with built-up placement per plan bears on a structural steel beam at elevation 102'-0" with an underside at elevation 98'-8". Two three-quarter-inch diameter by six-inch long shear studs are welded at twelve inches on center to the beam flange. Reinforcing includes number five bars at twelve inches each way, continuous number four bars at the corner, and number four bars spaced at twelve inches with an eighteen-inch lap length. An edge of elevator shaft fireglass enclosure extends upward from the slab edge, detailed per architectural drawings. Metal deck support is provided per typical details with lap length Lsb.
