A wide flange beam connects to a hollow structural section column using a gusset plate assembly. The connection is secured with six 7/8-inch diameter high-strength bolts spaced according to the drawing dimensions. The wide flange beam size is sized per plan and typical throughout the assembly. The hollow structural section column continues vertically through the connection.
