A continuous steel ledger angle measuring L4x4x1/4 is attached to a concrete wall using 5/8-inch diameter by 5-inch Titen HD anchors spaced at 18 inches on center. The concrete over steel deck bears on the steel beam and the ledger angle, reinforced with scheduled horizontal reinforcement or one continuous number 5 bar minimum at deck bearing. An angle brace per plan is welded to the steel beam with a 3/16-inch fillet weld. A maximum clearance of 1 inch is maintained at the wall interface.
