A structural steel beam supports a folding wall assembly below, featuring an MC6x15.1 channel spaced at four feet on center or one foot at the stack area. A three-eighths by four-inch plate with a three-quarter-inch erection bolt connects an L3x3x1/4 angle brace, which is provided at eight feet on center maximum and one foot maximum from the end of the beam. The angle is field welded to the top flange and web of the adjacent beam with a three-sixteenth-inch fillet weld. Anchor rods of one-inch diameter are detailed with ASTM F1554 Grade 36 material, heavy hex nuts, and washers. Threads extend four inches below the top of the base plate for one-inch rods and six inches for one-and-a-half-inch rods, with threads extended one-half inch beyond the nut and staked at the bottom embedment.
