A metal roof deck edge condition is supported by a steel beam sized per plan. A continuous one-quarter-inch bent plate forms the fascia at the roof edge for overhangs less than twelve inches. Fillet welds secure the bent plate assembly to the supporting steel deck and framing. A beam web stiffener is provided at beam locations to reinforce the web against concentrated loads.
