Typical and alternate angle-to-channel framing connections are supported by a steel beam sized per plan. The connection utilizes L4x4x3/8 angles and 2C4x4.5x3/8 channels joined with three-eighths-inch thick steel plates welded on two or three sides with quarter-inch fillet welds. Two three-quarter-inch diameter bolts fasten the framing members through a four-inch deep by three-eighths-inch thick plate. Additional four-and-three-quarter-inch tall by three-inch long by three-eighths-inch thick plates are provided top and bottom at each perpendicular angle.
