A steel wide-flange beam connects to a supporting member with a Type C30 connection per the typical steel connection detail, featuring a three-eighth-inch stiffener plate added if an incoming beam is not present on both sides. A roof deck bears on top of the assembly at the top of steel elevation defined on plan. A tie-back anchor and connection to the steel beam are provided by others as shown on plan, alongside field weld callouts of three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds and a continuous plate at the top flange.
