The steel joist bears into a 1-foot wide pocket formed in the top of the tilt-up concrete wall panel, providing 4 inches of bearing. The joist seat rests on an embed seat per detail 5/S501, reinforced with two number 4 reinforcing bars. A continuous deck angle is anchored at the top of the wall, and the roof deck is secured to this angle with 5/8-inch diameter puddle welds per detail 4/S303. Continuous 2x treated wood blocking is fastened to the top of the panel using 1/2-inch diameter by 10-inch long galvanized carriage bolts with washers, countersunk flush with the nut on the underside. Blocking is spaced at 4 feet on center in the field, with staggered fasteners at 2 feet on center at corners for the first 24 feet.
