A steel joist bears onto an angle assembly located at a vertical concrete tilt-up panel joint. The connection utilizes an L4x4x3/8 by zero-foot-eight-inch seat angle equipped with two half-inch stiffener plates, welded with a quarter-inch and five-sixteenths fillet welds typical. The joist is secured to a three-eighths-inch by four-inch steel plate using one three-quarter-inch diameter A325 bolt placed in a long slotted hole parallel to the tilt-up panel to allow for movement. The entire assembly anchors back to the concrete panels via a half-inch by twelve-inch by one-foot-two-inch embed plate with four three-quarter-inch diameter by five-inch heavy stud anchors.
