A drift track provided by the supplier accommodates vertical and lateral deflections noted in the general structural notes. A bent plate and connection connect the girt to the structure per detail 1 on sheet S611, while gravity connections handle the stud load to the structure and slab edge. A joint in the finishes is provided to allow for interstory drifts, with architectural finishes coordinated separately.
