This structural framing assembly supports roof drains using L3x3x1/4 angle frame members spanning between steel beams sized per plans. Connections are welded with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds typical at the framing junctions. Option B permits trimming the vertical leg at the joist, and short angle segments measuring L3x3x1/4 by zero-feet-six-inches are provided as a contractor option where applicable.
