The pad features number four reinforcing bars spaced at eighteen inches on center each way with two inches of clearance, tied into the slab using number three dowels spaced at eighteen inches on center typically. An optional roughened cold joint is provided at the perimeter. The assembly rests over subgrade material per architectural plans.
