A concrete slab-on-grade rests against a concrete foundation wall supported by a concrete footing. Vertical wall reinforcing extends from the footing into the wall with continuous reinforcing at the top and bottom. The cold joint between the foundation wall and the slab haunch requires a roughened surface to one-quarter inch amplitude. The exterior wall system above is coordinated with architectural drawings.
