Ceiling and mechanical suspension attachments at an 18-gauge minimum bare metal roof deck. A duct hanger strap fastens directly to the underside of the deck using two number ten sheet metal screws, supporting a maximum tension load of fifty pounds. A three-eighths-inch minimum threaded rod suspends from a Unistrut P1000 channel that spans a minimum of four low flutes. The Unistrut channel secures to each low flute using number twelve sheet metal screws with lock washers. The threaded rod features a standard washer and nut on top of the Unistrut channel and supports a maximum tension load of one hundred pounds.
