A C12x20.7 galvanized steel channel stringer supports galvanized steel bar grate stair treads with typical galvanized closure panels. A galvanized 1-1/2 inch by 1-1/2 inch by 1/8 inch angle spans the width of the landing on each side and is welded to the channel stringer. The angle is welded to a structural steel stringer and secured with an expansion bolt into the concrete loading dock ramp, which has a thickness verified with civil drawings. A 1-1/2 inch diameter galvanized steel pipe guardrail runs adjacent to the stringer assembly.
