An HSS8x6x3/8 outrigger is welded to the back of an L8x6x3/8 angle at the push-pull connection, with a 3/4-inch by 12-inch by 12-inch plate at the posts. A full-depth shear tab or stiffener of 3/8-inch minimum thickness is provided with a block-out for welding. Vertical HSS4x4x5/16 tubes span between verticals typically at the top and mid-height, alongside an HSS5x5x5/16 tube located per plan. Fillet welds of 1/4-inch and 5/16-inch sizes are applied typically throughout the assembly.
