A buckling-restrained brace chevron connection frames into a steel beam supporting concrete over a metal deck. The assembly features a gusset plate and brace connections designed by the buckling-restrained brace designer, with doubler plates and stiffener plates provided as required on each side of the web. Centerlines for the beam and brace intersect at a common work point. Perpendicular framing is omitted for clarity, and referenced sheets govern doubler plates, continuity plates, stiffener plates, and weld access holes.
