A wide flange beam connects to a wide flange column using a bolted shear tab or plate. The top flange of the beam is coped as required to fit the column geometry and top of column elevation. For specific weld sizes, plate dimensions, and bolt configurations, reference schedule 1/S6.2 and detail 2/S6.2.
