T-bar ceiling suspension wires anchor directly into existing two-by-six wood rafters spaced across an eight-foot span. Additional wires at the middle are used only at the two-by-six rafters. The wood rafters sit between steel structural members with an overall width dimension of eight feet and specific two-foot spacing increments for the hanging wires.
