A one and a half inch diameter galvanized steel pipe handrail and guardrail assembly is mounted to a C12 by twenty point seven galvanized steel channel stringer. Galvanized steel bar grate stair treads are supported by a one and a half inch by one and a half inch by three sixteenth inch galvanized steel angle welded to the stringer. The guardrail stands at a total height of three feet six inches, with intermediate rails spaced at twenty-one inches maximum. The handrail is mounted at three feet above the stair tread nosing.
