A 600T150-54 header track intersects a vertical jamb stud, with the track flanges extended past each side and secured using number 10 screws typically placed on each side of the stud. A cripple stud measuring six inches minimum matches the jamb stud size and fastens to the jamb with number 10 screws. The web of the header track is bent and fastened to the jamb using two number 10 screws.
