An edge closure of the same gauge as the metal deck is installed parallel to the edge member. The closure is secured to the deck using number 10 screws spaced at four inches on center. The assembly is anchored to the structural edge member with five-eighths inch diameter puddle welds sized and spaced per structural notes.
