A continuous three-eighths-inch bent plate connects the roof deck and structural steel beam per plan, welded with three-sixteenths-inch fillet welds spaced at two to twelve inches. A slide clip connection designed by the cold-formed steel designer ties the wall framing to the structure while accommodating vertical movement.
