Retaining wall drainage options feature two distinct backfill configurations. Option A utilizes crushed rock wrapped in Mirafi 140N or equivalent filter fabric, topped with compacted impervious soil and fitted with a four-inch diameter perforated pipe conforming to ASTM test method 2729. Option B utilizes Class II permeable material paired with Miradrain or approved equal, similarly incorporating a four-inch diameter perforated pipe conforming to ASTM test method 2729. Both options require the perforated pipe to be laid with holes down and sloped to drain per the soils report. Dimensions indicate eighteen inches at the exterior and zero inches at the interior.
