A pipe sleeve of two inch diameter is cast into a six inch reinforced concrete ramp slab and a six inch concrete pour-in-place wall, filled with non-shrink grout around a tube steel handrail post. A three by three by one-quarter inch plate is welded to the sleeve underneath the slab, supported by a thickened concrete slab section reinforced with two number four bars. The concrete slab and wall are reinforced with number three and number four bars at varying spacings, bearing on a continuous concrete footing with three number five continuous bottom bars.
