A structural steel column supports a steel beam through a cap plate connection detailed with anchor or fastening bolts. A web stiffener is integrated with a shear plate connection as specified in the general structural notes. The upper steel beam section connects to the assembly with a multi-bolt web connection below a metal roof deck.
