Concrete wall penetrations require pipe sleeves up to eight inches in diameter with typical horizontal reinforcement placed between sleeves and along the wall boundaries. Minimum spacing and edge distances are maintained at three times the sleeve diameter or specified minimum dimensions. Typical horizontal reinforcement continues around the sleeves, while larger sleeves require specific trim bars per standard details. The engineer of record must be contacted prior to installation if the minimum spacing requirements cannot be met.
