A CoreBrace buckling restrained brace connects to a gusset plate welded to a steel column and base plate assembly at the foundation level. A concrete blockout surrounds the base plate at the slab on grade elevation. Stiffener plates are provided as required by the manufacturer. The gusset and attachment design are furnished by CoreBrace, while base plates and anchor bolts are detailed separately.
