A three-quarter-inch diameter threaded hanger rod connects to a number 2-1/2 clevis, which secures to a one-half-inch thick plate using a three-quarter-inch diameter pin. The plate is welded to the top of a hollow structural section member with three-sixteenth-inch fillet welds on both sides. Dimensions indicate a two-and-a-half-inch vertical clearance from the center pin to the top of the structural member, with a one-inch typical dimension to the weld base.
