The assembly consists of a tapered raker beam fabricated with a 1 7/8-inch bottom plate that is 10 1/2 inches wide. The web connects to the bottom plate with a 3/8-inch fillet weld spaced at 6 to 12 inches. The overall depth of the beam varies along its length.
